The date of officer elections was announced as September 30. The following offices were available: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Ways & Means, Historian, Reporter, and Parliamentarian. Members were told to see Mr. Farrell for an application and more information about the offices.
Tom Wat catalogs were handed out at the meeting. Orders were due by October 1. Members were told to see Mr. Farrell if they had not received a catalog.
Mrs. Hogue spoke on community service and social activities. She advised attendees to bring their ideas to the next meeting.
Information was given about the fall conferences. The National Fall Leadership Conference was to be held on November 12-13 in Greensboro, NC. Money for the trip was due by October 13. The State Fall Leadership Conference was to be held in Hagerstown, MD on October 13-14.
Dues are $8.00. Members were asked to pay them to Account 510 by October 15.
The Installation Ceremony was announced to be held on November 16 at 7:30 pm.

Mrs. Hogue discussed social events and community servce.
Amanda Palko discussed fundraising ideas with the membership. Ideas included candy sales and dances.
A field trip to Reston, VA to visit Dulles Airport and the FBLA-PBL National Center was announced. The first 25 members to sign up were allowed to go.
Mrs. Titus discussed the Installation Ceremony to be held on November 16. She delivered the logistics of the event as well as information regarding appropriate attire.
Christmas candy sales were planned. Amanda Palko took responsibility for organizing the sales.
Canned food drives for Thanksgiving and Christmas were announced. Our goal was set at 30 boxes of food.
The date and time for the yearbook picture was announced.
